Pumpkin Carving - 2008

For the 3rd year in a row, E and I have had 3 pumpkins to carve. When we first got married, we had two: one for E and one for me. When I was PG with Ryan, we started getting 3 pumpkins: one for E, one for me, and one for "chilibean". When Ryan arrived and Halloween rolled around, we carved Ryan's pumpkin for him. His pumpkin last year only had two teeth - because Ryan only had two teeth. This year, we had the three pumpkins to carve and one for Ryan to color. Ryan had fun with the markers and probably got more on himself and the counter than on the pumpkin...but at least he had fun. He didn't understand why we wouldn't let him have the pumpkin cutters and it was quite upsetting to him. But other than that, we're happy with our first "real" pumpkin carving evening with the Martin Family!
