Happy 3rd Birthday Ryan!

After such a whirlwind yesterday and the onslaught of more rain, we were prepared for a pretty mellow birthday for my sweet boy. Since Ryan had never had a donut - we plopped his 3rd birthday candle in a powdered donut and sang happy birthday.

After breakfast, Daddy had to go to work so Grandma, Papa, Ryan and I headed out to Toys R Us to spend his gift card from Grandma/Papa. After toys r us, we hit the best place we could for lunch: McDonalds. He wanted chicken nuggets. Once we finished lunch, we headed home to play with his new toy from TRU: He chose this really cool Weed Whacker. He loves it....played with it all afternoon.

Since Grandma and Papa had to get on the road and I really wasn't up for making dinner after being on my feet for three straight days, we headed to the "peanut restaurant" for dinner. (Known to us grown ups as Logan's Roadhouse). It was Ryan's choice and that's where he wanted to go. He had a ball with all the peanuts! And he got his first ever birthday song at a restaurant. He loved that too.
All in all, it was an exhausting day. But a birthday isn't complete without lighting the birthday candle....so here it is.

Happy Happy Happy Birthday my sweet sweet sweet boy. Mommy and Daddy love you with all our hearts!
